Lessons In Living,  Moments That Matter

What Grew From A Promise| Dragonflies & Honey

The wonderful thing about a new day is that it brings new light. What felt heavy yesterday doesn’t always feel as heavy today, and I’m grateful for that. After my mom passed, a dragonfly appeared at a time when I needed one. I can’t explain it, but it stayed with me.

I spent my time working quietly behind the scenes on something deeply personal—something I had promised my mother I would do. In our last conversation, she told me to keep my promise. To focus on me. Then she thanked me for taking care of her. I knew what she was saying. So I got to work.

Out of that season came Dragonflies & Honey. And from Dragonflies & Honey came Stillwater Stitchery. Stillwater Stitchery was calm. It was quiet. It was reflective. And maybe, just maybe, it carried a little of the sadness I was still learning to live with. But as I approached the anniversary of my mom’s passing, something shifted. Just like the dragonfly, it was time for another transformation. It was time to step back into the light.

So today, I’m introducing HoneySweet Needleworks. “The patterns are still created with the same care, the same love of stitching, and the same desire to create pieces people will genuinely enjoy stitching.” It feels hopeful. It feels like where I am now.

I have more patterns to create, more ideas to explore, and I’m looking forward to seeing where this goes.

This is only the beginning. Be patient. There’s more to come. Have a blessed day.
