I’ve been seeing different uses for orange peels lately, and I realized… I’ve been throwing them away my whole life without thinking twice about it.
Some of these uses for orange peels actually make sense.
Some of them… I’m still thinking about.
But either way, I might try a few.
Simple ways to use orange peels at home

1.
they say just peeling an orange can boost your mood.
listen…
i believe it a little bit. not a lot, but a little. I’m willing to give it try.
2.
people put the peels in a pot and let it simmer to make the house smell good.
now THIS one…
this one I’ve done before but I added lemon peels and cloves.
3.
soaking orange with peels in vinegar for cleaning??

i’m not saying no…
but vinegar and I already have a complicated relationship.
i’m willing to work on it though.
we’ll see what happens.
4.
using orange peel water on your skin.
…okay.
everybody relax. I just got here. My skin is super sensitive. For me, I would have to try a patch test first.
5.
drying the peels and putting them in tea.
this one sounds calm.
this one sounds like me minding my business.
6.
apparently you can candy orange peels and turn them into a sweet treat.
now THIS…
this is right up my alley.
Why i’m even paying attention to orange peel uses now
all this time i’ve just been throwing orange peels away like they had nothing to offer.
turns out…
they’ve been out here living full lives.
🍊 one more… because apparently I had one more

I know said 6 things…
but here’s an extra one for whatever reason suits you.
the champagne cocktail (my favorite)
champagne
a sugar cube
a few dashes of bitters
and yes… a twist of orange peel
simple, classic, and honestly…
this might be the best use of orange peels i’ve seen so far.
