So here’s the truth: I’m Chicago born & raised. I wanted to create a calm place to land. Life moves fast — mine definitely has — and I’ve always craved spaces that feel genuine, simple, and honest. That’s what I wanted to create here.
The name dragonflies & honey comes straight from my life.
After my mom passed, a dragonfly showed up in one of those moments when I desperately needed something — anything — that felt comforting. It felt like a little nudge from the universe reminding me that lightness still exists.
And the honey part? That’s pure energy. I’m a Leo, a sun sign through and through, and honey has always felt like sunlight in a jar — warm, sweet, steady, and golden. Those two things together just clicked for me: lightness + warmth. Calm + good energy.
This space is a mix of everything I am.
I sew. I create. I love sharing stories. I live with a tree-nut allergy and found out in 2007 that I had a cardiac genetic disorder (fixed) — facts that have shaped me, but don’t define me. Mostly, they just made me appreciate simplicity and honesty even more.
dragonflies & honey is about that:
keeping things simple, light, funny when possible, and truthful always.
I want this to be a place where someone reads something and thinks, “Same.”
Or smiles. Or just feels a little less overwhelmed by everything going on in the world.
The products I create — shirts, oils, jewelry, whatever comes next — all fit into that same energy. Easy things that make you feel good. Small comforts. A little sweetness for the day.
I didn’t build this brand to impress anyone.
I built it to connect. To breathe.
To share the things I love with people who might feel the same way.
So… welcome. I’m really glad you’re here.
